Biomechanics applies engineering principles to biological applications to reveal relationships between structure, function, and injury.
From the human movement to the microarchitecture of bone, the Biomechanics Laboratory at Clarkson University studies problems of all scales. Mathematical modeling and experimental work are combined to study the orthopedic structure and function of the human body.
