Biology

My general interests are in pharmacology and toxicology. I am interested in cell regulation, channel inhibition, and channel functionality when inhibited by channel targeting toxins. My research is currently on the isolation and sequencing of proteins and peptides from the milk venom of cone snails. This is to determine specific functionality of individual proteins and peptides to specify which aspects of the toxins are involved targeting and inhibition.
