In class, I'll be doing an introduction to ancient Egyptian culture before we go on to the quiz. As usual, we'll start with maps and then move on to cultural analysis. To get you started, on the left is a map of ancient Egypt, highlighting the important places in Egyptian history, and, on the right, a more modern map of the same area, so that you can see the way the world has changed over the intervening centuries.
