Learn/Summarize/Report ------------------------ Follow the mailing list for an open source project, organization, etc. Note you don't need to follow one for the whole semester. If you watch it for a week and there is no traffic/traffic isn't easy to follow, you can summarize your findings and move on. In fact, you may want to sign up for several because some you pick may have little traffic. Even assembling a list of good/bad lists to follow would be useful.
