Lab assignments will be done in groups of 2 assigned by the instructor, with different pairing each week.  Turn in one solution with each person's name clearly indicated.  (Then check the grades on Blackboard when they are posted to make certain they were recorded for each person.  It's very easy to miss one name when recording.)

The case study must be done alone, although you are free to discuss with other students.  Copying of any part of a case study will be easily recognized and severely punished.  Your final written case study report will be one basis of your individual final oral exam.

Process simulation software will be used extensively.  Clarkson students will be able to install and use it on their own computers.  This will first require installation of VPN on the computer.  You can do this now -- see http://www.clarkson.edu/oit/campus_computing/network_vpn_installation.php .  At the moment, it may not work on Vista 64-bit or Mackintosh operating systems.  If you encounter a problem, contact the helpdesk@clarkson.edu to stimulate them to fix it before the fall semester begins.  Provide them with the details of the problem, including a screen shot of any message generated.

Blackboard:  All information will be posted on Blackboard; assignments, supplemental documents, grades, solutions, etc.
