Description
Sexuality is often thought of as one of the
most private aspects of life. Yet, it is also the subject of politics,
commerce, law, and public imagination at the state and global level.
Considering the new forms of interaction (via media, cyberspace, material
culture, political discourse, economic relations and transnational migration)
that mark our increasingly contemporary world, we explore such issues as
HIV/AIDS, cybersex, pornography, human trafficking,
prostitution, and the emergence of new sexual identifies, as they are impacted
by these globalizing forces.
