The input to this circuit is the voltage
provided by the voltage source. The response, or output, of the circuit is the voltage vo(t).
To analyze this circuit,
- Reflect the load impedance, RL to the primary. (See section 11.10 of Introduction to Electric Circuits.)
- Use voltage division to calculate the voltage across the primary coil of the transformer.
- Use the element equations of the ideal transformer to calculate the voltage across the secondary coil from the voltage across the primary coil and the turns ratio of the transformer.
