You Know You've Been in Finland Too Long
This is the first of countless
self-critical humor lists that actually seemed local to a specific place (most could apply anywhere--e.g., "You know you're from Michigan if you think the mosquito should be the state bird.."). Most of the items in this list, though, seem pretty Finnish.
8. Your coffee consumption exceeds 6 cups a day and coffee is too weak if there is less than two spoonfuls per person.
Hey...the coffee's damned good here. And we don't make a fetish out of it like the Americans have started to do. We just drink the stuff, and don't give it fancy foreign names and a huge price-tag. At least we don't drink that instant coffee muck.
