Esperto, the first Gnome saved by the GPA

The GPA has several goals. The first is to save gnomes everywhere from malicious scientific experimentation. There are even restrictions on what types of experiments you can do on rats, which are regularly killed in traps and are ill-liked by society in general. The Gnomes have no such protection, though they are another intelligent form of life. This has led to many inhumane and unspeakable "experiments" that would make anyone with a conscience shudder and turn away. This must be put to an end.

The next goal is to put an end to the mistreatment of Gnomes in general. They are often found in extremely crowded conditions owned by psychologically unstable humans. It is detrimental to them physically, emotionally, and psychologically to remain in such an environment, and the GPA hopes to eliminate this problem.

The last major goal of the GPA is the same as most current Gnome related organizations, and has in fact been an ongoing struggle for centuries. It is time that the Gnomes be freed from bondage. We have realized that slavery is evil, and have abolished it from humans, yet we are not willing to accept that this does not apply to humans only, but to all forms of intelligent life. The GPA is currently working with several international organizations, as well as the People's Independent Commonwealth of Canadia, a small sovereign nation fully supporting our agency and offering aid to all Gnomes, to attain this goal.
