The Gnome Protection Agency was created in the Fall of 2002 at the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School in Upstate New York, USA. It was created to address the new problems faced by Gnomes in current, modern society. The novel issues that the GPA confront are unrestricted scientific research on Gnomes and Gnome abuse (reffering to forcing them to live in overcrowded environments detrimental to their physical and mental well-being, and protecting them from mentally unstable people with an obsession for Gnomes). This website discusses these issues in detail, as well as a general overview of the GPA and how it plans to eliminate them. This website also gives a general overview of the history of the Gnomes and the ills they have faced throughout the ages and into the present.
