Welcome to my page!
I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical
and Computer Engineering at Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY.
Education:
Ph.D. Computer
Engineering, West Virginia
University, USA, 2002 MSEE. Electrical Engineering, West Virginia University, USA,
1999 System engineer, Khabarovsk
State University of Technology, Russia, 1993
Research
interests:
My broad interest is in the area of intelligent
systems: development and application of computational and artificial
intelligence methods to various engineering problems, data
processing in sensor networks.
My current research involves automatic sleep state scoring
and prediction of life-threateninng events in infants, evolutionary
derivation of neural controllers for high-performance unstable
systems, design of sensor network architecture, protocols and
hardware for autonomous structural health monitoring.
- Computational Intelligence: neural
networks, fuzzy logic systems, evolutionary methods, expert
systems, etc.
- Microcomputers and Embedded Devices:
computer architecture, intelligent devices, digital electronics.
- Sensor Networks: industrial, home
and automotive networks.
- Bioengineering: biomedical
signal analysis, automated diagnostics.
- Signal Processing in NDT:
structural health monitoring, vibration-based damage detection,
modal analysis, self-learning diagnostic systems.
 The
city where I was born and grew up - Khabarovsk, Russia. It's a large city on the Russian Far East.
Some pictures of Khabarovsk are available in my Photo Album.
If you didn't find something that was here before - try looking
in the Old
Stuff.
