Does Clarkson offer undergraduate course work during the summer?

Yes. Clarkson offers two five-week summer sessions. The course work
during these times are very limited (approximately 40 courses), therefore,
it is best to plan for summer work (if possible) early in the academic
year.

How much does it cost to take a course during the summer?

The cost of tuition is fixed annually for each academic year. Check
with the Student Administrative Services (SAS) for the per credit
hour rate.

When do summer classes begin?

Typically, summer school begins one week after graduation.

Do I preregister for summer school?

Yes. A summer school brochure and application form is available in
March through the SAS. After meeting with an academic advisor, you
may complete this form and return it to SAS.

How many courses can I take during each session?

Typically, students can complete up to two courses each session. It
is recommended that you have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point
average if you wish to complete more than two courses in one session.
