Important Dates
The following dates and deadlines apply tentatively for the 2006 Summer Research Experiences Program for Undergraduates in Environmental Sciences and Engineering at Clarkson University:

March 1: Deadline for postmark of the application in order to be considered.

Starting March 6: Beginning of the selection process and contact by respective faculty mentors.

Starting March 24: Beginning to make financial offers to students for the selection of the 8-10 undergraduate researchers. Students will be expected to decide on the acceptance of the offer within one week.

End of April: Establishment of a REU e-mail list to foster communication among the participants.

May 26: First day of summer research program.

July 31 : Research symposium in conjunction with all Clarkson Summer Research Programs. Student participants will present their research results in form of oral or poster presentations to students and faculty. Final project report due.

August 1: Final day of summer program and farewell dinner.
