Adirondack Adventures

At the start of our summer together, we went on a retreat to Star Lake in the Adirondack Park.

Our REU hiked Azure Mountain with some Honors Program and Nanotechnology REU students. The view is much more impressive when it's not raining, or so I'm told.

This is Huntington Forest, a site in the western Adirondacks where Clarkson does a lot of mercury research; this is one of the sites where I'm analyzing microbial communities. Atmospheric deposition readings are also taken here.
