This monument is dedicated to the memory of Peter A. Klein '87, Paul R. Hughes '85, Richard J. O'Connor '75, and R. Mark Rasweiler '70 who tragically lost their lives at the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001. They will forever be a part of Clarkson. With special gratitude to: Michael Bielawa '85 who supervised cleanup efforts at Ground Zero and donated these pieces of the structural steel, two of which were identified as part of the 55th floor of the South Tower; Edward R. Potts, Jr. '70 for hanging the steel, and The Jason Marsden '91 Memorial Foundation for their financial support. The September 11th 2001 Memorial is dedicated on October 14, 2005.
