Description:

The project widened and resurfaced Clarkson Avenue from the Maple Street intersection southward to the Village limits past Bagdad Road. The new roadway has bicycle lanes on each side and improved pedestrian facilities along the roadway, including two new pedestrian crossings. The project also included new pedestrian facilities at various locations throughout the Village along with bicycle signage that creates a link between Clarkson, Pine Street Arena, SUNY Potsdam, the hospital, and the business from downtown to those located on the northern end of town.
