On April 21st, 2009 at 6:30 PM, Clarkson University, ECO, and Clarkson's chapter of NYWEA are sponsoring a community town hall event at the Potsdam High School auditorium to talk about green jobs and sustainable development in St. Lawrence County. You are invited to share your thoughts or to hear what others have to say.

Didn't Clarkson's own HP200 students recently disprove the viability of green energy?
Publicity for this type of event seems to lack it's full potential. Are the flyers forwarded to all of the town/village chamber of commerce offices? I'm from Massena and I have not seen any of these flyers at all which is too bad b/c many are concerned with this topic.

What sorts of green job opportunites exist in the St. Lawrence area right now?
On the topic of energy efficiency, how can we coordinate St Lawrence County agencies, with citizen interest and likely stimulus funds, to meet urgent needs for low-income home weatherization/rehab and jobs/training?
