  • NEW!! Clarkson has great week at Nationals! After an awesome week in beautiful southern California, Clarkson had a great showing at the National Intercollegiate Racquetball Championship. Congratulations to Liz Levine for winning the blue division in women's 1, making her the 5th ranked colligate woman in the nation!! Jen Faucett and Travis Sleight got 3nd place in the gold division for mixed doubles. Sharon Dillon got 2nd place in the red division for women's 3. Byron Raych came in 3rd place in the white division for men's 1. Alex Davis came in 4th in the red division for men's 3. Jim Putnam placed 2nd in the white division for men's 5, and Jen Faucett won the white division for women's 2. The Clarkson team had a great showing, and everyone played great.   • Clarkson gets 2nd at regionals!!!! Last weekend Clarkson got 2nd place at the ECRC Regionals tournament! Everyone contributed to the awesome victory, including Liz Levine winning women's yet again, congrats! Godfrey Mathumo got 1st in men's 2 reds, beating Alex Davis in the finals match. Kadian and Alex got 3rd place in men's 3 doubles, and Travis Sleight and Byron Raych got 4th place men's 1 gold doubles. Out of the 108 players at regionals, Liz Levine received the most valuable player award, and Alex Davis received the most improved player award. The team got over 1500 point in order to take 2nd overall, 2nd in women's and 3rd in men's. Congratulations to the whole team for a great weekend. Check out all of the pics in the photogallery.

  • Balls to the Wall! Sig Ep and the Clarkson Racquetball Club have announced the 2nd annual "Balls To The Wall" Charity Racquetball Tournament held on March 5-7. The divisions are: beginners, advanced, women, and doubles, over $1000 in prizes!!! The winner of each division will receive $100. There are door prizes, raffles, and gift certificates to be won as well. the registration deadline is MONDAY MARCH 1st. To sign up e-mail Brendan Farrell. The first division is $15 and doubles is an extra $5 (per person). There are only 16 spots availible for doubles and is on a first come first serve basis, so sign up early. There will be food at the tournament as well as a banquet at Sig Ep on Sunday.

  • Clarkson gets 3rd at Penn State! Clarkson had another great weekend at the Penn State ECRC tournament, With the 3rd tournament in a row bringing in over 1000 points! Congrats to Liz Levine won division 1 women's and Jen Faucett won division 2 womens. Byron Raych won the red division for men's 1, and Kadian Stephenson got 2nd place in men's 3.

    These 12 people will be representing Clarkson in the U.S. National Intercollegiate Championships held in Los Angelas, CA on March 24-27.

  • Fleeces are in: The Clarkson Racquetball fleece's are in, if you ordered one please get it from Liz by the end of the week. Also Jen needs to the money for them by the end of the week, they are $28 each.

  • Balls to the Wall has been announced: Sig-Ep's Balls to the Wall tournament has been announced for the weekend of March 5-7. Sigup is $15 per person and another $5 if you want to play doubles. All divisions will have CASH prizes!! There will also be a tee-shirt and food included. All profits are going to charities.

  • Penn State moved: The Penn State tournament has been moved from Feb 6-8 to Feb 13-15. If you want to go send Liz and e-mail.

  • Nationals is coming quickly: The top 6 guys and girls will be decided on Jan 31, so make sure that you challenge as far up as you can before then. Even if you are not in the top 6 there is still a chance of you going. Also we are doing a candy bar fundraiser and anyone planning on going to nationals must sell at least one box. Anyone else interested in selling please let Liz know. Any help we can get would be great. Alson we are trying to buy some Clarkson Racquetball jackets, anyone who is interested e-mail Byron ASAP to get all the details.

  • Pics from Nichols are up! Pictures from the Nichols tournament in Mass are up. Clarkson had another great weekend pulling in 1276.5 points!! Everyone played great with Charlie Davidson and Byron Raych getting 2nd place in Mens 1 doubles, and Kadian Stevenson placed 2nd in Mens 3. Another great weekend and the second tournament in a row that we got over 1000 points!! check out the pics in the photogallery.

  • Second Tourny Nov 14-16 The club's second tournament of the year has been announced! it will be held on Nov 14-16. There will be both singles (advanced, intermediates, and beginners) and doubles (only one division). YOU MUST SIGN UP BY WEDNESDAY NOV 12th by 5pm. no late entry's will be accepted.   • Nationals has been moved! The collegiate nationals were origionally scheduled to be in Texas, however they have been moved to Los Angelas CA!! The new dates are March 24-27th. Remeber only the top 6 guys and girls go to nationals so start challenging your way up the ladder

  • Clarkson gets 2nd in Maryland The team got 2nd place overall with 1028 points in Maryland, almost doubling 3rd place! Congradulations to everyone and esspecially Liz Levine who won the womens division. Everyone played great and made for a very successful tournament. Pics will be coming soon so check back.

  • Octoberfest! The Octoberfest tournament has been announced , this is not an ECRC tournament so you will have to pay your own way, but they are always fun! for all the info check out the pdf file pfd file for all the info. If you are interested in going e-mail Liz and let her know.

  • Nichols Tournament Announced The Next ECRC tournament will be hosted by Nichols college in Mass on November 21-23. So start challenging up the ladder to ensure your spot! If you are not in the top 8 but would still like to go to tournaments e-mail Liz and let her know.

  • Ladder is up: The ladder has been posted!! so check it out. Please check all your info, if there is anything missing or wrong e-mail Alex with the correct info. Also note that the automatic challenge system is not working so make sure to read the new prodedure for challenging.

  • Maryland Tourny Announced!! The Maryland Tournament has been officially announced. It will be held Oct 10-12, the 2nd weekend in October. Anyone intereseted in playing go to the ECRC page to find out about the intercollegiate tourny's. This is the first collegiate tourny of the year so don't miss it!     • New court hours: The new expanded court hours are monday through thursday 7-9pm. Courts 2,3, and 4 will be reserved for racquetball club members only. click HERE to sign up for the club. See you at the courts!

    • Interest meeting Wednesday Sept 3 @ 7: everyone who is interested in racquetball should check out our table at the activities fair, or come to our interest meeting. The meeting is outside the courts located in the gym. Beginners are welcome even if you have never picked up a racquet.

    • Back to school: Almost time to head back for the Fall 2003 semseter! Hope everyone had a great summer. The website will start being updated regularly.
