The Clarkson Photography Club has been around almost as long as Clarkson itself. The club has experienced many changes over the years, and most recently moved up from the downtown campus to a modern facility in New Snell. We have something for everyone, regardless of what you shoot, or your experience level. Our members shoot everything from automatic digitals to large format view cameras, and everything in between. We do color and black and white, and digital too.
We loan cameras and equipment, and issue keys to our darkroom so you can do your own developing and printing in Black and White. Chemicals are always available, and we sell paper at a discount. The club frequently runs tutorial sessions in the darkroom for developing and printing, as well as other learning sessions for camera work; from the basics to professional lighting setups and photo shoots.
We sell film and paper at a 25% discount to members only. See our list of films in stock!
The club is always open to a new idea; speak up and we can make it happen. Photo Club does it all!
Meetings are held every Tuesday night at 7:30 in Snell 118. From there, we frequently leave to go to the darkroom or shoot elsewhere. We hold critiquing sessions for each other, and also organize trips and events as a group.
Our darkroom is located in the basement of New Snell; when you get out of the elevator it is the first door on the right. You can't miss it!
