-Rules-



Offside:
Do not cross over the blue line before the ball does. 
If the ball goes back across the center line, all attacking players must go back across the blue line before attacking again.

Icing:
When the ball goes down past the goal line from your own defensive area without any player touching it. Note: An opposition player must touch the ball first after it has crossed the goal line. Play will continue and an icing not called if any of the following occurs: 

The goalie leaves his area. (Goalie must be in their goal area and stay there) 
The referee believes the players are not making an effort to reach the ball. 
Any team member is in the penalty box. 
An attacking player reaches the ball first.

Hand pass:
Passing the ball to another team member using your hand, deliberate or not. Note: The goalie is allowed to pass the ball behind the goals using their hands.

Clipping:
Knocking a player over while on one or both knees (or lying) 

Slashing:
The act of hitting an opponent or their broom, with the intention to hinder their play.

Tripping:
Knocking a player over (taking out) whilst on both feet.

High Stick:
You cannot play at the ball above shoulder height. 
Baseball type swings are not allowed.

Kicking the Ball:
Kicking the ball to other players is allowed, although kicking the ball at the net to score
is not allowed, and any goals will be taken away.

Broomball is a Non-contact sport. Any contact will incur a penalty.
