So... You want to be a member of the Outing Club?
Great! Here's all you have to do:- Pay your CUSA dues: $15 for a year, $10 for a semester With these dues, you get a number of benefits. We encourage you to come to the weekly meeting, where you will find out about various trips going outside. These include camping, hiking, rock climbing, ice climbing, kayaking...really anything you could possibly want to do outdoors. Being a member will give you full access to any of these fine adventures, and put you in direct contact with others who share your passion. As a member of the club, you get reduced rates on renting from our extensive collection of equipment. Can't afford your own set of ice axes and crampons? No problem, that's what the gear room is for; as a member, you will pay a bare minimum for the ability to use club equipment.
- Participate in 4 trips, or 2 trips and one overnight
- Write one article for the Outlook
- Perform one hour of service for the club
- Free admission to the climbing wall
- Free gear rentals
- 10% discount at "Wear on Earth" in downtown Potsdam
- A really cool CUOC patch

If you are a hardcore outdoors person, or just looking for some good friends to enjoy the occasional hike with, the Outing Club is the place for you! New members are always welcome, and we encourage anyone to stop by our meetings for further information. Remember: Wednesdays at 8:00 PM in the outing lodge (map and directions)
