Clarkson University Outing Club (CUOC)
For All Your Outdoor Recreation Needs.
What We Do
Outing Club members are pretty much game for anything, but as you can see on the left side of your screen our
main focus activities are: camping, canoeing, caving, climbing, hiking, kayaking (white and flat water), and skiing.
We camp and hike year round, mostly in the high peaks of the nearby Adirondack Park. We rock climb and kayak in the spring and fall, ice climb and ski in the winter and take frequent trips all over the northeast to go caving.
For The Serious Outdoor Enthusiast
We maintain this website in order to coordinate the activities of the Clarkson University Outing Club (CUOC). This benefits our current members, who are able to organize trips and share photographs, as well as our CUOC alumni, who can keep up to date on club happenings. This site, just like CUOC itself, is student run, so for us it's all about the purity of the outdoor experience. We welcome any non - Clarkson visitors to our site. Take your time to browse our gallery and learn a little more about what makes us the active, exciting Outing Club that we are.
What's Your Interest?
On the left side of your screen you will find links describing our principle outdoor activities in detail. Each one of these categories has at least one chairperson, and as a result we are well organized and active. Take a minute to read up on what we're passionate about.Get Involved
Particularly for those of you who are thinking about coming to Clarkson, take a look at the get involved link at the top of your screen. Here you will find details about joining CUOC, how much the dues are, becoming an active member, and other important information for Clarkson students interested in our club.
