Camping
Members of the Outing Club frequently take camping trips to many places in the North Country and the Adirondack Park. Camping is a simple way to get away from the seemingly never ending school work at Clarkson. You can clear your head and relax by the sound of a babbling brook or watch a beautiful sunset over serene waters.
Staying up late till the wee hours of the morning will present you with the most awe inspiring views of the Milky Way. Very few people live in the Adirondack Park so even the dimmest stars aren't drown out by city lights.
If you are into backpacking to remote areas which are days away from the nearest road or just plain old tailgating at a near by state park the Clarkson University Outing Club has all the gear you could ask for to make your experience in the outdoors incredible. If you wish to join a trip that is going out please come to a meeting to find out more about who's going where and when. Chances are you'll get all the stuff you need free of charge if you are a member.
