Hi, I am Somendra Pant. I guess most of you will have a hard time pronouncing my name, so please feel free to  improvise. :-)

I work as an Associate Professor of MIS in the School of Business, Clarkson University. Before joining Clarkson, I was a graduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute  at Troy, NY, and got my Ph.D. and MS (MIS) degrees from there.

My doctoral thesis was about strategic planning for using Internet in businesses. The exact title (if it interests you) was "An Information Strategy for Internet Enterprises." I even have an abstract here. 

My other research interests are in the areas of Supply Chain Systems, Web-based New Product Development, B2B Exchanges, Business Process Outsourcing, and Evaluation of Information Technology.

In the past I worked for a large bank.
