COURSE ORGANIZATION

All students are required to:

• Give a lecture of 25 or 50 minutes based on some research topic that they have prepared with the approval and guidance of a faculty advisor.
• Inform me of their faculty advisor by the end of the second week of classes (September 7).
• Provide me with an abstract of their talk before I will schedule it. Talks will be scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis, with two 25 minute talks or one 50 minute talk per class period.
• Attend all CS707 seminar talks.
• Attend all Clarkson colloquium talks that are relevant to computer science. Students will be notified by email when there is a colloquium that they are required to attend.

Students who fail to follow these rules will not receive credit for the course.
