Clarkson Stargazers is an official club of Clarkson students who are interested in amateur Astronomy. We meet Wednesdays around 9:00 PM in Snell 177 to talk about Astronomy and give presentations. On clear nights, especially Fridays, we congregate at the Reynolds Observatory on Hatch Road to look at the stars, planets, and nebulae. The club also hosts star parties during important celestial events. Recently the club has also become interested in radio astronomy. Meetings are cordial and everyone is invited.
During our weekly meetings, we like to give presentations about general Astronomy knowledge. Here are a few:
At the observatory, we have a CCD camera that allow us to capture the heavens.
