Detection of flaws in the existing iris recognition systems and identification of factors that can be used for liveness detection

Iris Recognition involves real-time, high confidence recognition of a person's identity by mathematical analysis of the random patterns that are visible within the iris of an eye from some distance. But the present day Iris Recognition systems are low on user confidence & user friendliness, have a high FRR and have non-existent or ineffective liveness detection. Our goal is to search for different solutions for these problems, identify the most viable one and to implement it.
